Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Virginia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Poison Ivy all around the perimeter. Weeds trash. Was there 4 days ago with grandson. I don’t remember Norfolk playgrounds being this ugly. Sad for the Ghent community. Clean it or close it!

Great park for little kids

Sam Jackson a year ago

Stopped here this morning and left almost immediately. Found a towel that was covered in what I assume was human poop on one of the slides. Looks nice at first but wouldn’t recommend letting your kids run around here freely, no idea what else they would end up finding!

2 playgrounds (2-5 and 5-12), lots of swings, and 2 bouncers (ladybug and tractor). Seems well maintained. Big sand area, good for toys or volleyball. Area isn't quiet since it's right next to Colley Ave, the hospital, and not far from downtown/highways but well fenced in most places. Parking is limited to on street only, right next to the park is 1 hour limit but can park further out

Nice and big but should get cleaned up as far as under the swings and the bushes. Maybe they should put new rubber bottom underneath and clean the slides as well. Also would be nice to have a water fountain for hot summer days!
